If you have problems accessing the private wiki from a Google Chrome web browser, do the following:

1. Click on the three vertical dots in the top right of the browser and select "Settings"
2. Under Settings select "Privacy and security" from the left hand panel and then select "Cookies and other site data" from the central panel
3. Scroll down and click on "See all cookies and site data"
4. Type "pwiki" into the search cookies bar on the top right
5. Click on the bin icon next to pwiki.arkcls.com

You are actively encouraged to create new and modify existing wiki pages. You don't have to be the creator of a wiki page, as you all can make modifications as you see the need to any page. It's easy and you can edit in place by clicking the 'Edit' link near the top middle of each wiki page. This is the Visual Editor mode and it is essentially WYSIWYG editor. If you want to edit using the original Mediawiki mark up language then click the 'Edit source' link also near top middle of each wiki page. We should all strive to keep this wiki up to date.

This is the home page for the ARK CLS wiki. It was originally created and hosted on computer hosted internally in ARK CLS office. It has now been moved to wiki farm hosted by Miraheze. Its main purpose is to replace our ageing knowledge based owl system, primarily because owl is now a dead project and although there are more recent versions it proved problematic to install on any of our Linux boxes. We also fear that one day Janus the very old computer hosting owl on our network will fail leaving us without our company knowledge base.

We decided to use MediaWiki for our new knowledge base as it is the engine that runs Wikipedia. Therefore it is very unlikely that MediaWiki project will go the same way as Owl. If it did there would very likely be migration tools allowing wiki pages to move to the new database engine.
